Volunteer to help at the Sunday Service

Posted: April 20, 2008

Volunteers make the Sunday morning services happen. Greeters, ushers, Sunday School teachers, child care assistants, people to get the sanctuary ready, help with the music, help with the coffee hour and many other important roles -- all are volunteers.  Please join us, whether to help regularly or occasionally.  This is an excellent way to get to know your fellow UUs and be part of our exciting new church from the beginning. For more information, please email us at contact@uucd.org.

Spring 2008 Dinners IV

Posted: January 27, 2008

Now is the time to sign up for our Spring 2008 Dinners IV program. We will start in February, 2008 with one dinner monthly for four months (Thus the name "Dinners IV") for groups of 7 or 8 people at the home of each of the couples or individuals in the group. This promises to be an enjoyable way to get to know the folks you may worship with. Participants can offer their guests anything from gourmet meals to pizza ordered in. The important thing is the good company and the good conversation.

If you are interested, please email us at contact@uucd.org by January 30th. Please include your name, address, phone and email.

Covenant Groups

We recognize the need for the formation of a small group ministry while we are emerging as a congregation and beyond. To that end, we began forming Covenant Groups in January 2008. These small groups are designed to provide a safe environment where people are encouraged and supported in the sharing of stories, experiences, ideas, and feelings to develop spiritually.  If you are interested in learning more about Covenant Groups, click here!
